Liriope is also commonly called Monkey Grass
The dark green ribbon like foliage grows in lengths from 10 to 18 inches and then recurves toward the ground to form a rounded clumps.
In summer, spikes of small purple, violet flowers rise from the center.
This is a plant with very little requirements of maintenance and very drought tolerant once established.

    PROPAGATION; Divide clumps into whatever size you like from a few leaves to large chunks.
    Liriope's blue-black berries easily germinate, but divisions are easier and quicker.
